Vinton Construction has been working on the new housing area north of Sugarbush Lane in Carter. They are currently approaching the installation of water main tie-ins that will occur on Sugarbush Lane near Hwy. 32. Starting on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, a portion of Sugarbush Lane will be closed to traffic, while driveways will be maintained, to allow for safe installation of the new water main.

As part of the water main installation process, Vinton will shut off a portion of the existing water main temporarily to connect the new water main. Shutting down the existing water main will impact several residents on Sugarbush Lane, as they will be without water service for a short period of time.

We ask that residents prepare to be without water service between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 1st, 2023.
